The Bulldogge is still in the early stages of development. That is why our goal as breeders at Champion Bulldogs is to produce consistency in health and temperment in every generation we produce. We will do this by breeding the best dogs obtainable. Our dogs will be playful, energetic

dogs with great temperaments. The dogs that we produce will be all around happy and healthy dogs that would be a great addition to any family. Our dogs are free breathers, free breeders, and free whelpers. These dogs are a part of our family and we care about them very much. Please enjoy your visit.

Champion Bulldog's goal is to attempt at recreating a healthier more athletic and functional bulldog from about the 1820’s-1900. We started because of the love and admiration of such a extraordinary breed of dog. Although, we realize there is no such thing as "the perfect" bulldog, our attempt is to come as close to the real thing as possible.The modern Olde English Bulldogge is a reconstruction of the original Olde Bulldogge of the 17th and 18th century. Various genetic crosses have been used in carefully and thoughtfully planned breeding programs to obtain this goal. The foundation of most of today's Olde English Bulldogges can be traced to English Bulldog, American Bulldog and Mastiff. These dogs were used very selectively in various combinations to obtain the desired physical and mental traits of the original Olde English Bulldogge. The result has been a good looking Bulldogge of great athletic ability that is much healthier and physically fit without most or all of the problems that plague today's modern English Bulldogs. The goal of all Olde English Bulldogge breeders should be to produce genetically healthier Bulldogges that are free breathers, free breeders and free whelpers.
